Representatives of the political field as well as important partners of the festival including the general partner, Kooperativa insurance company, met at the Hotel Růže on a hot evening. Václav Klaus, a regular visitor of the festival, was the first guest to speak, “I am glad to be present at the opening of the festival once again. And I am pleased that in spite of the worries about having enough money for this year’s festival, the festival director Jaromír Boháč must keep sponsors away,” joked the former President of the Czech Republic, “and I thank all those who contributed to another year of this festival,” added Václav Klaus. The Minister of Culture Daniel Herman also wished success to this year’s festival, “This festival belongs to the most prestigious cultural events of this country. I am pleased that the Ministry of Culture was able to contribute to the mosaic of festival partners. I wish all of us a great experience from the symbiosis of beautiful music, historical architecture and summer weather, may all of us feel the touch of positive energy in our hearts.” Martin Diviš, the managing director of the Kooperativa insurance company, which has been supporting the festival since the very beginning of its existence, spoke on behalf of the financial partners, “I have had the honour of visiting this festival for more than twenty years and although I have visited many other events, the atmosphere in Český Krumlov is very specific and irreproducible. The beauty of music and the beauty of Southern Bohemia and Český Krumlov come together and this event simply makes sense. I am confident that not only sponsors but also state institutions will continue to stand by the festival and support it.” The Mayor of Český Krumlov Dalibor Carda also thanked the organizing team, “I am pleased that this beautiful festival is held in our town. And let me thank the president of the festival, all organizers as well as sponsors for bringing us such fantastic experiences.” In the end the president of the festival, Jaromír Boháč, addressed those present, “I would like to thank all the financial and media partners for their support and as the president of the Czech Association of Music Festivals I would also like to thank the Ministry of Culture for supporting music festivals. I also wish to thank the South Bohemian Region and the town of Český Krumlov and last but not least all those who contributed to the organization of this year’s festival. I wish you beautiful artistic experiences.”
