Stars of world opera stages will sing with the accompaniment of the big orchestra and choir consisting of Czech symphony orchestras and choirs under the baton of Jakub Hrůša – Mexican tenor Ramón Vargas, perennial star Eva Urbanová, Puerto Rican soprano Ana María Martínez, who is a frequent guest of Placido Domingo’s concerts, and Czech rising singing star, baritone Adam Plachetka, who made his debut at the famous La Scala theatre in Milan in the role of Guglielmo in Così fan tutte by W. A. Mozart by the side of such names as Rolando Villazón and the legendary Daniel Barenboim. Besides arias from Smetana’s and Dvořák’s operas the audience will also listen to Škroup’s “Kde domov můj” and Dvořák’s opera From the New World will also be part of the program.
