The first one will be Wednesday’s chamber concert interpreted by the Martinů Trio, which is currently one of the most sought-after European chamber ensembles. The audience at the Masquerade Hall will hear their interpretation of the works by Josef Suk, Bedřich Smetana and Antonín Dvořák. By means of this concert the festival will also pay tribute to Czech composers on the occasion of the Year of Czech Music.

A high spot of the festival program will be Thursday’s concert of the Pacora Trio, whose performance under the open skies in the Kooperativa Garden together with outstanding soprano Linda Ballová will be a thrilling musical journey across folk music and jazz with elements of classical music.

On Friday the internationally outstandingly recognized ensemble consisting of young musicians, the Pavel Haas Quartet, will perform at the Castle Riding Hall. String quartets by Ervín Schulhoff, Antonín Dvořák and Johannes Brahms will be played.

And the highlight of the festival will be Saturday’s spectacular concert at the Brewery Garden titled Stars of the Grand Theatre in Moscow, at which soloist of the world-renowned Bolshoi Theatre will sing the most famous arias by the Russian classics as well by great Italian and French opera composers.
