The chamber orchestra Virtuosi Pragenses was established by a leading Czech violin virtuoso and conductor Libor Hlaváček in 1970 and consists of leading Prague instrumentalists. Critics appreciate their performances especially for their musicality, cultivated sound and precise execution of the compositions. This chamber orchestra has made a number of radio and television recordings, it cooperates with leading Czech and foreign soloists and its repertoire includes all the important compositions from the Baroque era to the music of the 20th century. The orchestra will perform with two young soloists – Miriam Rodriguez Brüllová and flutist Albert Wonjae Pae from the USA. Albert Wonjae Pae has won a number of prestigious international competitions and is currently studying in Hamburg. Besides flute he is also studying piano, singing and conducting. Miriam Rodriguez Brüllová studied in Montreal and Vienna. As a soloist, she performs with leading world orchestras, she has appeared in most European countries, Asia, North and South America. Miriam Rodriguez Brüllová is the initiator and artistic director of the Bratislava Chamber Guitar International Music Festival.
