The three tenors are really not everything that the attractive menu of the festival offers this year. The twentieth year will feature also violoncellists Mischa Maisky and Kyrill Rodin, violinists Tanja Becker-Bender, Vaclav Hudecek and Ivan Zenaty, legendary jazz trumpetist Arturo Sandoval and musical singers from the very Broadway. The tradition of music and gastronomic national nights will continue with a presentation of Slovakia and the needed summer refreshment certainly come also via flamenco interpreted by guitarist Carlos Pinana and a night of Argentinean tango – Tango Soiree. Detailed information on individual concerts can be found in the section Program. We will pay more attention to detailed introduction of individual concerts also in our blog.
Advance sale of tickets for these concerts starts on March 23 in the network of Ticketstream. The tickets are available in the on-line reservation system Ticketstreamwww.ticketstream.czand www.ts1.cz, it is possible to access the reservation system also via the festival website www.festivalkrumlov.cz/en. It is also possible to buy tickets in any outlet of Ticketstream, the list of which is on the website of the company. Discount programs:
Holders of ZTP (1 person) and ZTP/P (1 person + guide) certificates – 30 percent discount upon presentation of the relevant document.
Hodlers of an international student certificate ISCI and ITIC – 10 percent discount upon presentation of the relevant document.
Children – children under 15 years of age get a 50 percent discount for all performances. It is not possible to combine individual discounts.
Like every year, the festival issues discount vouchers for selected concerts in cooperation with MF DNES South Bohemia and Zpravodaj mesta Cesky Krumlov. The vouchers are designated for citizens of the Region of South Bohemia.
This year, also, advance sale of tickets will take place in individual time phases, which will be distinguished by prices. An early purchase of tickets thus makes it possible to save up to 20 percent of the price of tickets to performances of Ramon Vargas and Placido Domingo and up to 10 percent of the price of tickets to other concerts.
As far as tickets to concerts of Ramon Vargas and Placido Domingo are considered, after cancellation of some reservations, there are currently about 15 percent of all tickets available, i.e. about 240 tickets to the concert of Ramon Vargas on July 15 and about 2700 tickets to the concert of Placido Domingo.
In our on-line store, you can buy also tickets to the banquet with tenor Ramon Vargas for CZK 1500 that will take place after the opening concert on July 15 in the Castle Riding Hall and tickets to the banquet with tenor Placido Domingo for CZK 2000 that will take place after the final concert on August 20, also in the Castle Riding Hall. In addition to these, we sell also gift vouchers that can be used for a purchase of tickets worth CZK 300, 500, and 1,000, club cards, and an exclusive brochure IMF Cesky Krumlov including a CD/DVD from 2010 worth CZK 500.

The general partner of this longest summer music show in the Czech Republic is KOOPERATIVA POJISTOVNA, a.s., a member of Vienna Insurance Group. In the category of patrons of concerts, this year we cooperate with TV Barrandov – the patron of the concert Immortal Broadway, Lidove noviny daily will be the patron of the performance of the legendary trumpetist Artur Sandova. Another form of media cooperation, which we introduced last year, is media support, in the framework of which the festival cooperates with magazine Hudebni rozhledy, portal Operaplus.cz, with the 1st cultural portal Scena.cz, calendar of concerts and other cultural events dokoncertu.cz and Austrian radio station Radio Stephansdom.
