You may read the program of the concert of soprano Angela Gheorghiu and tenor Ramón Vargas which will inaugurate the 26^th year of the festival at the Brewery Garden on 14^th July in the Program and tickets section.

The program is based on the repertoire which has brought success to both of the artists around the world. Advance ticket sales will take place in two time periods with different prices this year too. Until 31^st May 2017 the prices of the tickets are lower, therefore an early purchase of the tickets will bring savings.

We have chosen the following from the interview which both singers have given us: “The performance in Český Krumlov belongs to the most beautiful experiences in my career. Six years ago I had the honour to sing at the 20^th year of the International Music Festival Český Krumlov and now I am coming back to inaugurate the 26^th year. It is an incredible place, the quality of the festival and the concerts is very high, that’s why I am very happy to come back.”

“I haven’t had the opportunity to visit Český Krumlov until now but even after 27 years of my international career I am always very happy to get to know new places and new audiences. I am really looking forward to the live summer performance under the open skies; in addition I will sing with my fantastic colleague and good friend Ramón Vargas with the accompaniment of talented musicians from the PKF – Prague Philharmonia.“
