8.30 p.m. Summer riding hall – an evening with a concert and a surprise

For the closing night the International Music Festival would like to invite its visitors to the castle garden of the Český Krumlov Castle, where also thanks to the illumination of the whole garden they will go back to 1768. Special period Baroque effects will be part of the closing night titled “A Night of Baroque Masters”. The concert itself will be a premiere not only because of those who will appear at the concert but also because of the venue where it will be held. In the past twenty-five years of the festival, there has never been a performance in the spaces of the English park situated behind the Revolving Auditorium. And this is the place where trumpeter Marek Zvolánek and the ensemble Barocco sempre giovane will perform compositions by famous Baroque masters – Charpentier, Telemann, Locatelli, Clarke, Vivaldi and Bach. The whole festival will end in the spirit of the Baroque period – with festive fireworks, accompanied by Händel’s music on the castle lake.
