Tereza Mátlová is an opera and musical singer. She studied flute and piano and sang in the Kühn Children’s Choir. She graduated from opera singing at the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the leadership of Prof. Magdaléna Hajóssyová. She continues with her studies under Prof. Vlasta Hudecová in Bratislava and under Vladimír Chmelo. She has participated in a number of masterclasses, including masterclasses led by Prof. Helmuth Rilling at the Bach Academy in Stuttgart. She was awarded the “Talent of the Year” award at the opera festival in Wexford in Ireland, where she portrayed many opera roles, for example, Zerlina, Susanna, Zelide and others. In 2016 she was nominated for the Thalia Award for the role of Constanze in Mozart’s opera Die Entführung aus dem Serail. She performs at the National Theatre in Prague, at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, at the North Czech Theatre in Ústí and Labem and on world music scenes in the roles of Gilda, Violetta, Pamina, Leila, Countess Almaviva, Constanze and others. She also dedicates herself to concert activities and cooperates with important conductors such as Marcello Rota, Vladimir Jurowski, Riccardo Frizza, Enrique Mazzola, Leoš Svárovský, Jan Kučera, David Agler and Claude Schnitzler. She sang at Eva Urbanová’s concerts and performed as a guest during the tour of Karel Gott and famous baritone Leo Nucci. She made a recording of Bohuslav Martinů’s opera Mirandolina for Supraphon Records and she released a solo CD at the GOJA agency and a CD titled “Hvězda betlémská” (in English “Star of Bethlehem”). She cooperates with the GOJA agency, which presents world-renowned musicals. She has appeared in the roles of Cosette in Les Miserábles and Ellen in Miss Saigon and at present she excels as Primadonna Carlotta Giudicelli in the successful musical Phantom of the Opera at GOJA Music Hall in Prague. She often cooperates with Czech Television, Czech Radio, TV Nova, TV Prima and TV Barrandov.
Michaela Káčerková is an important personality of the young generation of Czech organists. She graduated from organ at the Prague Conservatory (Prof. Jan Hora), from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Prof. Jaroslav Tůma) and from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig (Prof. Stefan Engels – organ, Prof. Tobias Schade – harpsichord). During her studies she took part in a number of masterclasses under the leadership of important teachers (Harald Vogel, Martin Sander, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Olivier Latry, Ludger Lohmann) and received awards in interpretation competitions both in her native country and abroad. She regularly performs at concerts and cooperates with many choirs, soloists, orchestras and Baroque ensembles (Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Baroque Ensemble, orchestra of the National Theatre in Prague, Capella Regia, Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra and others). Her repertoire includes music from all style periods from the Renaissance to contemporary works. As a soloist she regularly performs at concerts in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, England, USA and Japan. Since 2014 she has been the director and program advisor of the J. C. F. Fischer International Music Festival. At present she is preparing an extensive project and working on the release of her CD titled “Historické varhany Karlovarského kraje“ (in English “Historical Organs of the Karlovy Vary Region”).
